You have to keep thinking.

You have to keep thinking.

Is that tuning? It can’t be. It’s graphically awesome.

Burberry Fashion Show . Runway with hologram effect

When I was in Paris my sister, by this time a student in Fashion Design, would eventually invite me to the “Maison de Couture” she worked for. Once, she proposed me to replace a model who couldn’t be present on the day of the fashion show. I helped instead an awesome male model to dress up… which was definitely better than having a walk in public :D   Another time she proposed me to be part of the reception of an Issey Miyake Show on the Champs Elysées BUT this show was NOWHERE near the innovative and high tech Burberry’s Fashion Show punctuated with an awesome hologram feel. Enjoy.

Interactivity is not only digital. Here’s a brilliant example.

“Flop” the toilet washing machine system for saving space and water
There is a period in the year when you can’t stop saying “This will not be my day”. When your grandfather has died and you can’t assist to his burial because you are on the other side of the planet. When your insurance appears to be useless and make you start the month with £11.39. When your furniture maker neighbour keep waking you up at insane hour in the morning whatever the day of the week and refuse to change his habit because “everybody wake up at 7am”. The list continues endlessly and you try to get over it and appreciate (rare) good moments like “I’m eating strawberries under the sun in my favourite dress, nobody or nothing will ruin this moment!!!! Don’t they dare.” But then you browse the Net and suddenly you find some awesome Design inventions which charge up your battery and will make you laugh until the next silly dark period.

When designing a website, it’s recommended to have a grid. It will bring your website some structure, create a consistent appearance and make it easy for your adored developer when build time will come.
At first, I was pretty studious. I used to create myself a grid, which would always change from 6 pixels to 5 columns depending of the project. Let say it, it got me very annoyed after my 15th design. Soon, I just  went freestyle making the rules bend when designing the homepage and only then create the grid. And now, I discovered Modular Grid Pattern.
This Photoshop Adobe Extension is simple. You set up the size of your baseline, gutter, module width and height. Click on “create grid” and done, your task is completed, you can go play pingpong with the Art Directors.

“The Camera Store take photography a little too seriously” by Jordan Drake

I was talking to a friend yesterday saying that, for my birthday, my funky neighbour who is photographer was offering me a “shooting”. Upon which my friend corrected my mistake immediately: “A photo shoot, not a shooting ka. Your neighbour ain’t gonna kill you”. But see, I wasn’t very far.
